I just looked up the serial it was made in 1949 and is a "Solid Rib type" It's a great gun unfortunately the barrel has been shortened a bit after being damaged i.e banana peel blockage explosion (25 3/8" from receiver) It recently suffered a fall from a shelf in the closet and I noticed that the stock has a crack where it meets the receiver.
